Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the AskRune mobile app (listed in Turkish as "Rune Kahini") and the pages at askrune.app. By installing or using the app you accept them.

1. Parties

The app is developed and published by Murat Ağırbaş as an individual developer ("we"). This agreement is between you and us, not Apple or Google.

2. What the app is

Rune readings, the Birth Rune, Rune Compatibility and talismans are tools for reflection; they do not predict the future and are meant for entertainment and inspiration. They are not a substitute for professional advice on health, legal, financial or other important decisions. The Birth Rune, the zodiac–rune pairing, Rune Compatibility and talisman design are modern interpretations, and the app says so where they appear.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you got it from. Copying, selling, reverse engineering the app (except where the law allows it) or reproducing its content wholesale is not part of this licence.

4. Purchases

• Subscriptions (monthly, yearly): renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and are charged to your App Store or Google Play account. You can manage and cancel them in your store account settings; after cancelling you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
• Free trial: if a subscription offers a free trial, its length is shown on the purchase screen. If you don't cancel before it ends, the paid subscription starts. A trial can be used once per store account.
• Lifetime access: a one-time payment that does not renew. See section 5.
• Prices and refunds: prices are shown in the store and may vary by country. Payment, billing and refund requests are handled by Apple and Google under their own rules. Your rights under applicable consumer law are not affected.
• Restoring: purchases belong to your store account and can be restored with "Restore Purchases" on any device signed in to the same account.

5. What "lifetime" means

Lifetime access is the right to use this app's Premium features without further payment for as long as the app is offered in the store and supported by us. It is not a promise of a service for your or our lifetime.

• If the app is withdrawn or no longer supported, the copy installed on your device keeps working with the Premium features you bought. New versions, updates or installation on a new device may then no longer be available.
• Features may change and new ones may be added as the app develops. Lifetime access covers everything a Premium subscription provides at the time.
• If we decide to withdraw the app or end its support, we will announce it in advance in the app and on this page where possible.

6. Intellectual property

The texts, images, design and software in the app belong to us or our licensors. You may use and share the reading cards, birth map card and talisman wallpapers the app makes for your own personal purposes. The rune signs themselves are in the public domain.

7. Your information

What you enter is kept only on your device. See the Privacy Policy.

8. Warranty and liability

We build the app with care but cannot guarantee it will always work without interruption or error. It is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from using the app or from decisions made on the basis of readings. This does not affect any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. On Apple devices (App Store)

• This agreement is between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
• Maintenance and support of the app are our responsibility; Apple has no obligation to provide them.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance and consumer protection claims.
• If a third party claims that the app infringes its intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and, once you accept it, may enforce it against you.

10. Changes

If we update these terms, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date, and announce important changes in the app.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer rights under the law of the country where you live are not affected.
